Buddy is an outstanding Belgian, both in temperament and type. In Buddy's first 5 years he was not aggressively campaigned as I have been busy with family commitments. We are very proud of our boy having not only obtained his Australian Grand Champion title but being awarded number one Groenendael in Australia under the dogzonline point score in 2006. To add to this we are proud to add that Buddy is the first Tasmanian Grand Champion Belgian Shepherd in History!
Buddy is also a multi Best in Show, Runner up Best in Show and Best in Group winner as well as numerous in show and in group awards. Buddy has had such a fantastic career for a Belgian! Buddy is now retired but is currently back in the ring for a few months to help a couple of young junior handlers get some experience from the old boy.
Buddy gained his Herding Test Certificate on 6 April 2008 after passing two successive Herding Tests. That wasn't enough for the old boy though. He as also placed third in Trial in his morning run! Not bad for an old boy! Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks! Well done Buddy!
